
While working at RBC, part of my job was a project that was called My RBC — a new section on the website and app where users could receive notifications about new articles in the topics they follow, ensuring they don't miss updates on topics they are interested in
In a much broader sense My RBC is thought to be a personalized news feed, which analyzes user's browsing history on RBC and suggests relevant topics for them to follow. It is also a place where users can track quotes, add articles to favourites, get updates on courses they take and notifications about upcoming events.
In April 2023, we began working on the MVP1 version. Initially, we conducted research (competitor analysis, target audience study), then we moved on to hypothesis development, creating prototypes and designing pages and screens.

The main goal of our project was to implement a new functionality to the website and attract up to one million new registered users on the website and app. By introducing new functionality, we also aimed to retain users who rarely use RBC's services. Finally, we aimed to increase the conversion rate of such products as Pro, Investments, Events and others.
