In the end of 2022 I joined CURVES studio to take part in designing a platform for tracking learning process in educational programs for Skolkovo Moscow School of Management. Our goal was to automate and visualize key metrics of an educational program.
Students work on their first business projects for a year, and are assisted by tracker mentors. It is important for the program manager to see the dynamics of the teams and trackers in order to quickly notice problems and help students. He came to us with the task of creating a dashboard to visualize the main metrics for student projects. In order to collect all the necessary data, it was important to simplify the collection of reports from trackers.
The project had a limited budget and required a solution that was easy to maintain and support.
Skolkovo Moscow School of Management provides professional business education and training from leading teachers in Russia and the world.
To speed up design and development, we used Google's ready-made Material Design library as a basis.
With its help, we collected the project base — simple dashboards and a personal account. Then we customized the experience of using the account depending on the tasks of each role on the platform — student, tracker, and manager. We developed an automatic system for forming assessments from different indicators — engagement, pitch quality, and preparation for meetings.
The tracker-mentor leads students' projects by filling out reports in his personal account.
